I’ve Got A website, How Do I make money?
You’re probably in the same boat as I was when I started. You’ve made a website, it’s got some traffic and you’re wondering how you can make money from it. Welcome my friend, this is what was at the core of my blog. Other bloggers will bang on for years about what really is the same old crap. YOU NEED TO PUT RELEVANT ADVERTS OR PRODUCTS IN FRONT OF YOUR VISITORS. That’s it. You can sell links to other webmaster but in the big scheme of things this is all smoke and mirrors. Eventually if you become popular enough you might be able to sell advertising spots to other webmasters directly but you’ll need to be able to provide them with some ROI. There are various ways of getting visitors in front of targeted adverts but that’s what it comes down to. The easiest way of getting relevant ads is to use Google Adsense. Their ad blocks will be automatically targeted to your page content. For making “some” money you can’t beat Adsense. You’re probably in the same boat as I was when I started. Their ad blocks will be automatically targeted to your page content. For making “some” money you can’t beat Adsense. However the more effort you put in the more you get out, there is much more money to be made by manually selecting relevant products and using referral links in your pages. Sometimes just a link will work, other times you might need to pre-sell. Instead of getting paid $0.10 $0.50 for a click you’ve then got a chance of getting 4%-%50 of the sale price. It’s harder work, but the reards are potentially greater. Of course there is nothing to stop you using Adsense with your waffiliate links but just remember that each click on your Adsense is a potentially lost referral sale. It’s all about testing, testing testing! Another very easy method is to use In-Text adverts. Systems like Info Links and kontera will underline words in your text pay you each time a visitor clicks on them. Again this is an easy way of getting relevant adverts in front of your visitors. Relevancy is the key to all this. Put adverts up that aren’t relevant and you are wasting your time and potentially annoying your visitors!
